Not a lot of people speak English. And my biggest challenge was to find the train I had to take. I tried the information desk on the train station in Moscow - but not a single word of English there either!! Must say that my experience with Moscow was exactly the same! But of course, wearing the business-spectacles, the language doesn't make it any easier.
